Cheeseburger Meatloaf

- 1½ pound ground beef
- ½ whole sweet onion
- 2 eggs
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- ½ cup italian bread crumbs
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 tbsp dill cubes
Meatloaf Topping
- 1 cup ketchup
- ⅛ cup yellow mustard
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Preheat over to 375° degrees Fahrenheit.
Line a sheet pan with foil paper. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onions, eggs, garlic, ketchup, bread crumbs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, cheese, and pickles.
Add meat to pan and shape into a square loaf and bake at 375 for 35 minutes.
In a small mixing bowl, combine ketchup, mustard, vinegar, black pepper, and brown sugar.
Spread sauce over meatloaf and return to oven and bake an additional 15-20 minutes or until meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160.
- Use any ground beef but lean. The fattier the better.
- Do not be afraid to use other cheeses (pepper jack for example)
