You know sometimes when you are sitting at home and looking for the perfect snack before dinner. Don’t worry this Spicy Tuna Salad recipe will handle that quick snack meal for you.

This Spicy Tuna Salad is one of the easiest and quickest snack meals you can make on short notice. The thing that makes this salad so delicious is the addition of diced jalapenos that takes it from something you ate as a kid to something you would eat as one of the coolest adults ever.

How to make Spicy Tuna Salad

  • Gather all of you ingredients
Everything for the salad
  • Open 3 Five ounce cans of Chunk Tuna and drain off the excess water
  • Place the Tuna in a large mixing bowl so you can add the remainder of the ingredients
  • Place the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, celery, honey, diced jalapenos, lime juice, sweet onion, salt and black Pepper, to taste.

What type of Tuna can be used?

Really any kind that you would like I chose to use the can that was filled with water rather than vegetable oil because it was 80 calories less per serving. Or as I sometimes do what ever is on sale.

What can I eat and drink this with?

I choose to add my favorite cheddar and Sour Cream potato chips and it pairs well with one of my top ten beers Sour Monkey . If you have an Air Fryer that you haven’t taken out of the box and are more of a Potato wedges person try this recipe .

  • 1 Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 15 ounces Canned Tuna Fish
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 celery chopped
  • ½ tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp diced jalapenos
  • 1 hard boiled egg chopped
  • ½ tsp lime juice
  • ¼ cup sweet onion chopped

Instructions
 

  • Drain excess water from Tuna and add to a bowl
  • Add mayonnaise, mustard, celery, honey, pickles, eggs, lime juice, onion, salt, and pepper.

Notes

  • the egg is optional
  • add Pepperjack cheese if you are looking for more kick
